Is Slabfactor a marketplace?
No. Slabfactor is a tool you pay for, not a marketplace that pays itself out of your sales. We take no percentage of anything you sell, we hold no money and no listings, and the sale closes at your table the way it always has. We put the market's price on your label; we don't run one.
Where do the prices come from?
From trusted market sources — the same market prices dealers already check by hand, like TCGplayer's. Every price is stamped with the date it was pulled, on the label and on the card's public page, so you and the buyer both see how fresh the number is. Prices refresh nightly.
What works today?
Slabfactor is invite-only, and we keep our claims honest. Live today: the card catalog — 200+ Pokémon sets and tens of thousands of cards, with prices refreshed nightly — dealer inventory, label printing, and the public card page each label's QR opens. Being built: camera scanning, pricing rules, and the native apps with offline support. If it isn't live, we say coming.
I already use TCGplayer. Why would I need this?
So do we; that's the point. Slabfactor doesn't invent prices — it puts the trusted price on your label with a date, then keeps it fresh. The lookup you do by hand for one card, it does for the whole case.
Why pay for another subscription?
Time-per-card is the metric: if pricing and labeling a card drops from minutes to seconds, the math is the pitch. And the pricing stance is simple — flat monthly, never a percentage of your sales.
My inventory is huge. Can Slabfactor keep up?
That's exactly when repricing-without-rescanning pays — the bigger the case, the bigger the win. Your whole stock stays searchable by name, set, condition, and grade, in seconds.
What printers does it support?
Slabfactor is built for the cheap Bluetooth thermal printers dealers already own — the Niimbot D110 / Phomemo D30 / Nelko P21 class that's standard at show tables as of August 2026. Labels today are sized for the Nelko P21; support for the wider class will follow.
Do you support Japanese cards?
Not yet — and we won't claim it until it ships. Japanese cards and tricky variants like reverse holos are exactly where existing tools fall down, and identifying them correctly is a first-class goal of our scanning work.
